According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 1985, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4338.98 billion; Japan ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $1398.89 billion; Former Soviet Union ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $914.12 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $732.54 billion; and France, with a total economy of $553.14 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
