According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024,in the ranking of the world's GDP in 2019, United States ranked first in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $21372.57 billion; China ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $14277.6 billion; Japan ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $5123.32 billion; Germany ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $3888.33 billion; and United Kingdom, with a total economy of $2878.67 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
